Please note that all items listed as precious metals are either marked (in which case there will be a photo clearly showing the mark) or acid tested to ensure metal purity. We test the gold multiple times with acid. Please know that getting multiple gold readings in different spots is quite common with very old jewelry when standards of assaying and were not as stringent as today and individual goldsmiths provided gold.
Unless otherwise stated, COLORED GEMSTONES SUCH AS RUBY OR SAPPHIRE have not been tested.
